Every once in a while, every one of us need to be inspired.
Inspiration makes us do things.
Inspiration births ideas.
Inspiration causes change.
I was having lunch the other day with a friend. Our conversation drifted from work to ministry and relationships. I got quite excited and immediately had a few ideas pop into mind about what I could do.
I usually get inspiration from meeting people. Sparring, engaging, discussing and sometimes even debating. All of these experiences with people help mould me and inspire me even more.
‘Inspire‘ is such a powerful word. It causes us to dream big things and to do great things.
The caveat to finding joy is being inspired even in the mundane and boring things of life. Think about this; Michaelangelo took 4 years to paint the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel. From mundane to awesome.
One more thing about inspiration, once you got it you have to pass it on. It’s contagious. Anyhow, you’ll start telling someone about it before you know it.
P.S. : This topic is something I will continue to develop and write on, perhaps in a series of posts. It’s a little hobby horse of mine. 🙂
